Gautam Gambhir Becomes CoinDCX Brand Ambassador

Indian crypto exchange CoinDCX has announced former cricketer Gautam Gambhir as its new brand ambassador. Gambhir will lead the company’s “Learn Karo. Crypto Karo.” campaign, which aims to educate Indian investors about cryptocurrencies and empower them to make informed decisions.

India has a strong base of over 160 million investors, with more than 5 million actively trading in stocks and other financial markets. However, many investors hesitate to explore the crypto market due to a lack of understanding. CoinDCX’s new campaign is designed to change this by breaking down barriers and encouraging more Indians to gain knowledge and confidence in the growing crypto space.

The long-term goal of “Learn Karo. Crypto Karo.” is to promote awareness and learning. The campaign will feature ambassadors like Gambhir, known for their expertise and commitment to teaching, aligning with CoinDCX’s mission of prioritizing investor education.

Sumit Gupta, Co-founder of CoinDCX, expressed excitement about Gambhir’s role. He said, “We’re happy to welcome Gautam Gambhir as our brand ambassador. Gautam Gambhir shared his thoughts on CoinDCX partnership: “Confidence is key before making any decision, and that confidence comes from knowledge. That’s why I’m teaming up with CoinDCX for their educational campaign—to help Indians explore crypto responsibly and with proper knowledge. My message is simple: learn first, then invest.”

CoinDCX has already educated over 4.45 million people through various programs like Unfold, DCX Learn, Namaste Web3, and Community Chapters. The Namaste Web3 initiative has grown into a nationwide movement, offering in-person learning sessions in cities beyond the metros, including Ahmedabad, Pune, and Jaipur. The company’s Community Chapters now operate in over 20 cities, spreading crypto awareness and knowledge.
