The 2025 Porsche 911 has been unveiled, featuring hybrid technology and subtle yet functional updates to its exterior and interior. Known for its blend of daily driving comfort and supercar performance, the 911 continues to impress with its latest model.

Hybrid Technology in 2025 Porsche 911

The big news for the 2025 Porsche 911 is the introduction of hybrid technology, particularly in the Carrera and GTS trims. The Porsche 911 GTS now features a 3.6-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder boxer engine paired with an electric motor integrated into the 8-speed PDK transmission. This electric motor adds 15 horsepower (Hp) and 150 Newton meters (Nm) of torque. The combined output of the 911 GTS is 541 horsepower (BHP) and 610 Nm of torque, a significant increase from the previous model.

The hybrid powertrain enables the 911 GTS to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds and reach a top speed of 312 km/h. This performance improvement also helps the GTS set a faster Nurburgring lap time of 7 minutes and 17 seconds, shaving off 8.7 seconds from the previous model’s time. The inclusion of a 400V battery pack adds 50 kilos to the car’s weight.

Updated Powertrain for the Carrera

The Porsche 911 Carrera also gets a new 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged boxer engine, equipped with a new intercooler borrowed from the 911 Turbo. This engine produces 394 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. Both the GTS and Carrera models feature rear-wheel steering and PASM sport suspension as standard, with the GTS riding 10 mm lower for improved dynamics. The GTS trims also come with wider tires and drag-reducing wheels.

New Exterior and Interior Features

The exterior of the 2025 Porsche 911 has been updated with new LED Matrix headlamps, a tweaked bumper, and larger active aero flaps on the front bumper for the GTS model. The rear now features a connected tail lamp cluster and a variable spoiler. The GTS model also includes a sport exhaust system.

The updated instrument cluster includes a 12.6-inch curved display, and the 10.9-inch infotainment unit now provides easier access to drive modes and music apps. Additionally, the system can stream videos while the car is parked.

The 2025 Porsche 911 brings hybrid technology, enhanced performance, and modernized features, making it an exciting addition to the iconic lineup.
