Quick-commerce platform Zepto has elevated Simran Sachdeva to the role of Associate Director – Brand Marketing. The company confirmed that she took charge of the position in October 2025 and will be based out of Bengaluru. The move highlights Zepto’s continued focus on enhancing brand visibility and consumer communication as competition in the sector intensifies.
Sachdeva has been associated with Zepto for more than a year. In her previous role as Senior Manager II – Brand, she worked on brand planning and contributed to national marketing initiatives. Her efforts have been linked with strengthening Zepto’s identity among young consumers and urban households deeply reliant on fast deliveries.

Before joining Zepto, Sachdeva worked with consumer technology brand Nothing as Brand Manager. During this period, she was involved in integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that helped in retail and digital brand presence.
She began building her marketing foundation at McCann Worldgroup, where she worked as a Junior Strategy Planner for MRM//McCann. The role exposed her to creative planning and brand communication during the early phase of her career.
Experience Across Sectors
Sachdeva also held key brand roles at boAt Lifestyle, where she served first as Assistant Brand Manager and later as Brand Manager. Her experience there included overseeing brand messaging and managing growth-driven campaigns in India’s expanding audio and wearable products market.

Industry experts note that brand marketing plays an important role in the quick-delivery business, where customer engagement and trust directly influence usage frequency and retention.
Zepto Competitors
Zepto operates in a fast-growing and highly competitive quick-commerce market in India. Companies such as Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and BigBasket Now are among its primary rivals, each improving product availability, delivery speed, and consumer experience to retain users in major cities.
Analysts believe that brand recognition, value communication, and consistent consumer engagement will continue to shape leadership outcomes in the sector. Zepto’s leadership re-alignment through appointments like Sachdeva’s indicates a continued strategy to strengthen its market communication and remain closely connected with customers.
