The company has re-designated Rajdipkumar Gupta as its Managing Director (MD) while appointing Gautam Badalia as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). These changes will take effect on December 17, 2024.

Rajdipkumar Gupta as Managing Director

Rajdipkumar Gupta, who has been serving as the Group CEO, will now take on the role of Managing Director. Gupta will continue to act as a whole-time Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company. The terms of his appointment remain the same, as previously approved by the Board and shareholders.

Gupta will focus on enhancing Route Mobile’s global growth by leveraging the resources and reach of Proximus Global, a key partner. With years of experience in enterprise, telecommunications, and system integration, Gupta is well-prepared to lead the company into its next phase of growth and innovation. His leadership will be instrumental in solidifying Route Mobile’s position in the digital communications industry.

Gautam Badalia Takes Over as CEO

Gautam Badalia, formerly the Group Chief Strategy Officer, has been appointed as the new CEO and KMP. With extensive expertise in CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service), corporate strategy, and finance, Badalia will now oversee the company’s operations.

In his new role, Badalia will focus on driving strategic initiatives to ensure the company’s growth and profitability. He will work closely with Gupta to translate the company’s strategic goals into actionable results. This collaboration aims to strengthen Route Mobile’s position as a leader in digital communication services while maintaining its dominance in emerging markets.

Chairman Vision for New Leadership

Guillaume Boutin, Chairman of the Board, expressed his confidence in the new leadership structure. According to Boutin, the leadership changes represent an important step in expanding Route Mobile’s domestic success into the global market.

“Route Mobile will play a pivotal role in leveraging the combined strengths within Proximus Global through Rajdip and Gautam. Together, they will create a global digital communications leader while maintaining a strong focus on emerging market dominance,” Boutin stated.

Step Towards Global Expansion

Route Mobile’s leadership restructuring comes at a time when the company is experiencing significant growth in international markets. The new leadership team is expected to drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and enhance stakeholder value.

Gupta’s focus on overarching strategies and Badalia’s emphasis on operational excellence will ensure the company’s sustained success. Together, they aim to pave the way for Route Mobile’s transformative growth in the global digital communications landscape.

Commitment to Innovation

The leadership changes highlight Route Mobile’s dedication to innovation and strategic growth. With a strengthened leadership team, the company is well-positioned to scale its global operations and deliver enhanced value to its clients and stakeholders.

This transition marks the beginning of a new chapter for Route Mobile as it continues its mission to become a global leader in digital communication services. By focusing on both strategic and operational excellence, the company is poised for long-term, sustainable growth.
