Amit Sachdeva is well-qualified, holding titles as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the USA. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) at the University of Delhi. His extensive background will be pivotal in guiding Physics Wallah’s strategic finance and growth initiatives.

This leadership change comes shortly after Physics Wallah raised $210 million in a Series B funding round, boosting its valuation to $2.8 billion. This figure is more than double its $1.1 billion valuation from the Series A round. The funding, led by Hornbill Capital, included contributions from Lightspeed Venture Partners, GSV, and WestBridge through a mix of primary and secondary transactions.
