NSDC, PhysicsWallah Launch Bharat Innovation Global

National Skill Development Corporation International (NSDC International) and Indian edtech company PhysicsWallah (PW) have teamed up to launch an innovative education initiative called Bharat Innovation Global (BIG). This program aims to make India a global education hub by aligning academic learning with workforce demands.

BIG focuses on bridging the gap between education and employability through flexible, technology-driven learning methods. It strives to equip learners with the skills needed for the modern job market, making education more relevant and practical.

Education for All Ages

BIG is designed to benefit learners across different age groups and career stages. It starts with skill-based training for students in classes 11 and 12, preparing them for industry-relevant careers early on.

The initiative also extends its reach to learners in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI), polytechnic colleges, and universities. Working professionals are included too, with upskilling programs aimed at enhancing their career prospects.

Additionally, BIG focuses on building the skills of government employees to help them adapt to modern governance needs. This capacity-building initiative ensures they are equipped to deliver better public services and keep up with technological advancements.

Supporting Flexible Education

BIG aligns with recent education reforms in India, such as the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes flexibility in learning. It also takes advantage of the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines that allow courses to be offered online.

These changes enable BIG to provide learners with more accessible and personalized education options. By leveraging technology, the initiative ensures that education is tailored to meet individual needs.

Leaders Speak on the Initiative

Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC and Managing Director of NSDC International, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. He said, “Through our partnership with PhysicsWallah, we are taking a transformative step towards bridging the gap between education and industry needs. The Bharat Innovation Global (BIG) initiative will empower millions of learners by equipping them with essential skills for the future job market. Together, we are paving the way for innovative learning pathways that ensure every learner is job-ready and capable of contributing to India’s growth.”

Alakh Pandey, Founder and CEO of PhysicsWallah, highlighted the importance of collaboration in education. He stated, “Education is not a one-size-fits-all solution; it’s a dynamic and evolving journey. At PhysicsWallah, we aim to provide learners with skills that prepare them for the ever-changing world. Our partnership with NSDCI through BIG is a step towards making the educational landscape more inclusive. Through this initiative, we aim to align education with growth at various stages of a learner’s life.”

Technology-Driven Learning

The foundation of BIG lies in digital education. By using advanced technology, the initiative provides scalable, accessible, and personalized learning experiences.

BIG incorporates AI-driven career guidance, gamified learning tools, adaptive teaching methods, and secure Learning Management Systems (LMS). These features ensure that learners from all backgrounds can access high-quality, industry-relevant content.

A Vision for the Future

The Bharat Innovation Global initiative is a step forward in transforming India’s education system. By integrating technology with traditional learning, it aims to create a skilled workforce that meets the demands of a rapidly evolving economy.

BIG not only supports students but also empowers professionals and government employees, fostering growth at every stage of life. This initiative reflects the shared vision of NSDC International and PhysicsWallah to make education more inclusive, impactful, and aligned with the future job market.

With its focus on digital education and skill development, BIG is set to play a significant role in shaping the future of learning in India.
