MaxIQ, an AI-powered platform designed to improve revenue growth for B2B SaaS companies, has announced that Sastry Malladi has joined the company as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). MaxIQ, which is backed by Dell Technologies Capital and Intel Capital, recently raised $7.8 million in funding to expand its operations. Sastry will now lead the company’s product and engineering teams to further enhance its AI-driven solutions.
Sastry Malladi in Product & Engineering Teams
With over 30 years of experience in the technology industry, Sastry Malladi will play a key role in scaling MaxIQ’s Revenue AI platform. This platform aims to help businesses improve their sales performance and customer relationships by connecting different departments, including Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations (RevOps), into a single, unified system. By reducing silos between these teams, MaxIQ enables companies to deliver better customer experiences, accurate sales forecasts, and long-term revenue growth.
Sastry will work closely with MaxIQ’s CEO, Matt Hickey, and Founder, Sonny Aulakh, to expand the platform’s capabilities. Together, they plan to help B2B SaaS companies close gaps in sales processes and improve customer value by streamlining onboarding, usage, expansion, and renewal efforts.
Sastry’s Technical Experience and Vision
Sastry Malladi brings a deep understanding of AI, enterprise software, and global technology leadership to MaxIQ. His experience includes co-founding FogHorn Systems, a startup focused on Edge AI, which achieved a successful exit. He has also held leadership roles at major companies such as eBay and Oracle, where he worked on building large-scale, global technology platforms.
In his new role at MaxIQ, Sastry will focus on expanding the company’s Agentic AI capabilities. These AI tools are designed to improve sales forecasting, customer onboarding, product adoption, and revenue expansion, all through a single, intelligent platform.
Sastry expressed his excitement about joining MaxIQ, saying, “Many revenue teams struggle because their tools are disconnected, leading to missed opportunities and inaccurate sales forecasts. I’m excited to help build a platform that unifies sales and customer success to drive better results.”
Matt Hickey, CEO of MaxIQ, praised Sastry’s appointment, calling him a leader with the right skills and experience to help the company scale its next-generation platform. With Sastry’s guidance, MaxIQ plans to continue its mission to transform how revenue teams work, making it easier for businesses to achieve predictable growth and maximize customer lifetime value.
