The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has announced MN Srinivasu, Co-founder of Billdesk, as its new Chairman for the 2025–2027 term. Srinivasu will take over the role from Harsh Jain, Co-founder and CEO of Dream Sports. The announcement comes after the completion of IAMAI’s biennial governing council elections.

Alongside MN Srinivasu, two other key appointments were made. Harshil Mathur, Co-founder and CEO of Razorpay, will serve as Vice Chairman, while Sameer Nigam, Founder and CEO of PhonePe, will take on the role of Treasurer. They are replacing Rajesh Magow of MakeMyTrip and Satyan Gajwani of Times Internet, respectively.

Team To Lead Council

The new executive team Srinivasu, Mathur, and Nigam will work together with IAMAI President Dr Subho Ray, who remains an ex officio member of the council. The group will guide the Association’s 24-member governing body over the next two years. Their leadership will officially begin at IAMAI’s upcoming annual general meeting.

IAMAI is a not-for-profit industry association representing over 600 companies, including major Indian and international digital firms. The organisation has been a key force in shaping India’s digital future through active policy engagement, startup support, and digital ecosystem development.

Focus on Digital Growth

The newly appointed leadership is expected to push forward IAMAI’s mission to promote fair digital policies, responsible innovation, and consumer safety. The Association also works closely with the government and regulators to ensure a balanced and supportive environment for digital companies.

IAMAI has played an important role in supporting the growth of startups and encouraging a competitive digital market. With new leaders from Billdesk, Razorpay, and PhonePe at the helm, the Association is likely to continue its push to drive digital trust and financial inclusion across the country.

Looking Ahead

Under this new leadership, IAMAI plans to increase its efforts in research, advocacy, and industry collaboration. The goal is to further strengthen India’s digital economy and ensure that policies and innovations benefit both businesses and consumers. The coming years are expected to bring significant developments as IAMAI supports India’s journey towards becoming a global digital leader.
