Dentsu India Names Sujata Dwibedy, Jose Leon as CEOs

Dentsu India has announced key leadership promotions, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and strategic growth. Sujata Dwibedy has been appointed CEO of dentsu X, while Jose Leon takes on the role of CEO for the Retail Media Business. These leadership changes aim to drive the company’s expansion in marketing, technology, and consulting while deepening client partnerships.

These appointments align with Dentsu India’s broader mission to innovate and make a strong impact in the industry. Both leaders will continue reporting to Anita Kotwani, CEO Media, South Asia, Dentsu. Sujata Dwibedy Vision for dentsu X

As the new CEO of dentsu X, Sujata Dwibedy brings 26 years of expertise in strategy, planning, research, and innovation. She is set to lead the agency into its next phase, focusing on integrated excellence across media, technology, and creative services. Her extensive background in crafting results-driven strategies will help dentsu X achieve sustained growth and market leadership.

Sujata expressed her enthusiasm about the new role, saying, “This is a transformative moment for the industry, and I am honored to lead dentsu X into a bold new era. Jose Leon Focus on Retail Media Growth

Jose Leon, now CEO of the Retail Media Business, will focus on helping retailers increase revenue through innovative retail media solutions. His expertise covers both the sell and buy sides of retail media, making dentsu India a leader in delivering impactful marketing solutions.

He emphasized the growing importance of Retail Media, stating, “Retail Media, or New Stream Media, is transforming advertising. With AI-driven personalization, we integrate data in real-time to improve media efficiency and help advertisers maximize their ad spend. Dentsu has built strong tech capabilities to scale campaigns, and I am excited to expand these efforts in India.”

Jose has a strong background in deep tech, commerce, and digital consulting. Before this role, he successfully led dentsu X as CEO, passing the leadership to Sujata while transitioning to a more specialized focus on retail media.
